(Enfield, Conn./CBS Connecticut) – A prank phone call led Enfield police and a SWAT team to a home in town earlier this morning.
Police Chief Carl Sferrazza says a person called police indicating that someone inside a Monroe Road home had been killed.
The chief says that led to the heavy police response.
He says those inside the home came out without incident.
Sferrazza says no one has been formally charged yet.
In a tweet, Mayor Scott Kaupin said there were no injuries and that one individual had been taken into protective custody.
